Welcoming family run hostal
Centrally located and full of character, this hostal is run by friendly people. We only stayed one night but you could see that it’s their home too. Lots of information and help if you need it, English spoken as well as Spanish. We had a room that was accessed outside of the hostal, down a small lane so it was pretty quiet at night (and this was a Saturday). Comfy beds with duvet and blankets meant I was cosy and slept well in the chilly Bogota night. Hot water and clean bathroom. There is a pet German shepherd at this hostal. I’m not a big dog person but this is a lovely dog, gentle and calm - I was charmed! Breakfast is simple but nice, bread, coffee and a wide selection of fruits in fruit salad.
You are really in the thick of it here. Noise is not a problem but be aware you are in a very tourist-centric part of Candelaria.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Great laundry service and booking taxi for airport transfers. Convenient location.
Located on a noisy street but staff provided ear plugs. Beds quite solid.

Good quiet private room right in the middle of Candelaria
Great Breakfast, freshly prepared to your taste and it was nice to have one communal table for the breakfast. I had a private room with a separate entrance, very quiet as away from the street. Good hot shower and comfy bed. Very good quality for the price and a welcoming atmosphere.

Very social hostel in the heart of El Poblado
Clean dorms with their own bathroom. The breakfast is basic but good. There's a well-equipped kitchen that you can use and nice spaces where you can chill. It's very easy to meet people in this hostel. And the staff is so friendly and helpful! Also very good location in the heart of El Poblado.
